What is Sales ?

Sales the small word made up of only 4 letters but what do you think? Is it a small thing?

An answer is NO because sales is everything.The person who is expert in sales can achieve everything in life. An Entire business depends on sales and profit.

We can see sales everywhere whether it is a small vegetable shop or it is Established Industry. Everything depends on how to make sales.

=>What is sale actually?

A sale is a word where to sell your business product or service to any party and earn a profit from it. If any company sales is strong than success is on their doorstep. The market revolves around sale.
There are different selling techniques for different industries but the motto of every sales person is the same “ just to sell “.

In the the field of Information Technology, you sell the services of developing web or mobile applications. The actual cycle of sales in IT field starts when the company starts.

Things to be shared to Clients at First Meeting :
=>The sales employee talk to the parties about their services
=> About their past work
=> About the technology they have worked on and are still working
=> How they are unique from other sellers and there are many mores

After hearing all this the client if agree will send his requirement of work which will be analyzed and then the sales person will give time and cost estimation again on which the negotiation will be done. After 2 parties will agree the sales person have to wait until the party pays some advance amount of payment after which the employee can be appointed and work can be started. But from around 20 estimations given there are only chance of 2 projects to be closed and that too not immediately after waiting for month the deal can be closed.

So from this you can get easily how much patience it requires.

Sales requires patience starting from generating leads, you send 500 Linkedin requests only 50 gets accepted from others you can even be blocked, gets abusive responses, no response at all, gets response to contact in future, etc. but to keep patience and move forward with that 50 requests which are been accepted is called sales. The next example you have given estimations to the clients it may possible that after that client does not respond at all or ignore you but do not lose patience sometimes it might happen that client is not directly the end client he too is dependent on someone so once he will respond he will be back to us. So keep patience is all about sales. Never gets disappointed and always try to reach new new clients and never dependent on one is what effective sales is.

Sometimes it might happen that deal is close from our side and from client too but after payment also client has some emergency and the project goes on hold and you are nowhere but In this case too be patient and wait for client response and than decide further actions. It might possible the client who was not responding earlier suddenly after 6 months of gap gives you the big project but this will only be successful when you put 100% patience and did not loose hope than your efforts will pay off.

Sale is game of patience don’t get hyper excited with the situation or don’t get sad with tough situations let the things pass on with time and the best will come up. Keep patience and focus on hard work and surely you will get rewards for it.

Nothing can goes against hard work. If you have passion for your work but you lack in patience than situations might go wrong. So always be focused on your work be passionate about your work but never loose patience and success will be yours.
