A Team – Bunch of talents working together this is what actually the word team means. A team is where people from diverse cultures, languages, educational background or what not comes together to achieve a same goal. Team is where the personalised objectives are throw away and focus is to work as a whole for getting the best. Team can be made for different reasons. In school teachers used to make a team for sports, in college we have teams for presenting role-plays, in office we have teams to satisfy our business goals. There can be n number of members in a team. But coming to my topic is to create a team is easy or tough task ?
I think all of you will agree with statement that all humans are different from one another and than to bring all the different humans to deal for the same goal is never easy. I work for a start up company where everything depends on what team i make. I can make a team of all fully qualified people with genius in their field but the next question comes if they are genius in their field why will they join me and the main thing will not be ego issues at every point ?will they be able to accept their mistakes ? willthey be ready to expand the more knowledge and achieve more ? and the questions remains unanswered. The next team I can create is all of people who are new and are expanding, but main question again here rises will they be able to manage and if the answer is no my research gets complete. And so finally discussing all the points with management we decided to create a team of experts mix with dedication and strugglers who are willing to learn more. Again my topic is it easy to get what you demand for easily?
Creating a team is never easy. We need talented peoples who keep aside their personal objective and ready to work for common goals. People are extremely different from one another their nature, their languages, their culture, their background, their status, their areas of interest, and all are completely different. It is very necessary to first of all create a atmosphere where no importance should be given on the basis of caste or class. We all are in corporates dealing with professionalism should be our motto. Than people should be assigned the roles and responsibilities specifically so that they create the best in their appointed areas. The reporting manager should be appointed for each single individual so that it no confusions or misunderstanding are born. Everyone should be motivated to work better and the pressure should be equally distributed so that no one person is targeted. Get to gathers, discussing on each other views, conducting activities where one can understand each other betters are what we should plan for. Come together for celebrations make the atmosphere friendly so that people co-ordinates with each other well. All this above functions will help to create a team that will be dedicated and hardworking.
A team should be created where there is no entry of politics and ego. We all have our personal goals in life but that should not be mixed with business goals. Both the life are different maintain the work life balance. Team is mixture of good and bad people. Take the best from good and throw out worst from the bad and you will have a successful team. Perfect team is not impossible to create but it is full of challenges. Play with the challenges and create the best for your company.
