Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom Shopify themes and modify existing templates as per project requirements
- Implement third-party Shopify apps and custom functionalities
- Optimize store performance including loading speed, responsiveness, and UX
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform compatibility
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences
- Integrate APIs and third-party services with Shopify stores
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and support requests
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience working with Shopify
- Proficient in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience with Shopify REST and Storefront APIs
- Knowledge of Shopify Plus features and custom checkout (preferred)
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
- Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in headless Shopify or Hydrogen
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce
